Dr Farah Noorani (co-founder)

MBBS MRCGP DRCOG RCPath Medical Examiner

Dr Farah Noorani, was born in Reading, Berkshire and undertook her medical studies at The Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine, University of London, qualifying in 1998.  In 2006 Dr Noorani gained membership to the Royal College of General Practitioners and became a GP Partner in 2010.  She has practiced extensively as a GP over the past 20 years both in the NHS and Private practice.

Her current NHS role - Medical Lead for a London based Rapid Response Team - has a particular interest in admission avoidance or ‘hospital at home’ as it is more commonly known, managing unwell patients safely at home.  She is a fierce advocate for multiple healthcare disciplines working collaboratively to manage patients and witnesses first-hand the positive impact this has on patients both in terms of speed of recovery and patient experience.  In addition, Dr Noorani is a Medical Examiner (ME) for a large hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

Before General Practice Dr Noorani completed an Ophthalmology Surgical Rotation in East Kent. She had first-hand experience operating on eyes as well as other micro-surgical procedures on the face and uses skills gained in her aesthetic facial injectables work.

Recognised in November 2021 by winning an award from her NHS Community Trust, the Chief Executive stated: ‘Her colleagues believe she has been “instrumental in developing services and improving quality,” including the production of a head injury film and the creation of a pathway to deliver IV fluids in the community alongside colleagues, which was shortlisted for an HSJ Value Award. Described as “buoyant, encouraging, caring and supportive” it’s clear that we are very lucky to have such a dedicated member of the team.'

In addition to her medical career, Dr Noorani is a mother to a teenager, an accomplished musician and is the musical director of an international musical ensemble and the lead singer of a band. She is also a qualified accredited mediator with over 500 hrs of mediation experience with a special interest in alternative dispute resolution.
